Bog-shoeing is a very interesting activity to do in Latvia, every bog has its own story, shape and its own magic. To move around a bog you don’t need previous knowledge or experience, but you will need special footwear that makes walking comfortable and safe. Bog shoes are designed to be moved around the bog to leave as little impact on the environment as possible.
